Summertime

May 13, 2009

So this post is way past overdue, but oh well.  In a nutshell, this is what has happened since prom.  I had finals, I did semi okay with them, I ended up with a cumulative GPA of 3.6, I took the AP english exam, I think I did okay.  I graduated on May 8th with honors.  Honestly, I didn’t expect to feel much when my principle called my name and I received my diploma, but I think I shed one tear.   Here’s a video if anyone is the least bit interested to see me graduate:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi2ncLkXgow
So now it’s summer, and I haven’t done much.  Every day seems like the last.  My schedule goes as follows:  Wake up, play with dogs, work out, take a nap, watch the Tyra show, take another nap, eat dinner with parents, watch sex and the city and scrubs.   Well, not every day, but it seems like it.  I do, however, have a reason to smile now.  I’m not going to let out details on this subject, though.
I leave for NYC on Sunday and could not be more thrilled.  This is going to be a spontaneous trip for the most part.  There was no real planning involved, so I’m hoping all goes well.  I have high hopes for this summer, and I hope I can make the most of a special summer before college.

I need a new book to read.  I don’t want to feel completely brain dead this summer.
Ideas?

Au Revoir.
